We're the complete package
Careful, you're drooling
Combining protein-dense pea and hemp-seed proteins, Empathy packs 20 grams of multisource protein in every 30 gram serving for a complete plant-based protein source.
Belgian golden-yellow pea and raw, Canadian hemp-seed proteins combine together for an all-natural source of plant-based protein that's Non-GMO Project Certified.
Full of Fiber
Hemp protein brings the heat, or rather, the fiber! With 2 grams per serving, fiber helps maintain healthy gut bacteria and regular digestion that 95% of people lack!
All Nine Essential Amino Acids
Pea proteins boast a complete amino acid profile dense with branched-chain amino acids arginine (for heart health) and leucine, isoleucine, and valine (for muscle growth).
Omega-6 & Omega-3
Hemp-seed protein packs more protein per calorie than chia or flax seeds along with essential fatty acids: linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3).
With digestive enzymes protease, amylase, and lactase to break down your meal into energy faster. Without these enzymes, many nutrients are often lost and not utilized.
Step aside, turmeric shots. Empathy brings all the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits of curcumin for muscle soreness and recovery with every silky sip.
All That, No Crap
Sometimes, the most important thing is what’s left out. Empathy is gluten-free, soy-free, Non-GMO Project Certified, and naturally sweetened with no added sugars.
100% Recyclable Packaging
Our stand-up pouches are a single-material pouch with no lamination process.
- Recyclable under Code #2
- Made of high-density polyethylene
- Not laminated for easier recycling
- Designed to limit materials used
This is Only Step One
Our current, recyclable packaging is categorized as “Flexible Packaging,” which is frequently lumped together with less-recyclable materials by waste management due to the inability to distinguish the specific codes for proper recycling. When recycling, always be informed about your local limitations or opt for non-municipal recycling options for higher recycling rates.Read more
Long-term, we’re working towards a compostable alternative that will give you the power to dispose of your packaging yourself with home composting that isn’t affected by local and national waste management limitations.
Here’s the Scoop
There's isn’t one. Most protein powders come packaged with a single-use, small plastic scoop for serving up your protein powder. Usually, these aren’t accepted by regional recycling programs. Even if they are made of recyclable material, their small size is often incompatible with the machinery used (because they fall into cracks and crevices and aren’t processed). So, instead, these land in a landfill.
So, we ditched them.
Your kitchen has plenty of spoons already (that won’t be lost inside a container of protein powder, either). Instead of producing single-use scoops that end up in the trash, our product minimizes material use for less waste and you use a re-usable tablespoon.
